Lesson 1

Our lesson this week is "The Idle Idol" (Exodus 31:18-32:35). Our Learner Goal is "I understand that God wants us to worship Him alone."

Join your friends, family, and neighbors (and soon-to-be friends) of Chapel as we celebrate the birth of the Savior of the world! We have Christmas Eve services on Thursday, December 24, at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00 p.m.
Communion will be celebrated at all services. A Children's Message will be included at the 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. services (special boxes for Sunday School age students are available for pick-up at Chapel). Candles will be lit at the 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. services. We will Livestream the 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. services through our website (https://chapelofthecrosslutheran.org/online).

Marriage in Pandemic Times (Part 1) discusses the challenges couples face in the unprecedented circumstances of intense closeness, vastly changed routines, and the looming anxiety brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lori Snyder, LCSW, shares tips, ideas, and clear recommendations that are useful for relationships at all times. She also discusses how to find a counselor and acknowledges that some people might feel so challenged in these pandemic times as to consider suicide, noting a healthy response to those feelings and pointing the way forward.
