Chapel will celebrate Worship with Communion this weekend!

A full list of precautions and procedures is available here
In order to be able to worship in person while allowing for social distancing, we need your help. We have two Saturday services (4:30 and 6:00 p.m.), two Sunday services (8:00 and 10:45 a.m.), and the Monday 7:00 p.m. service, as well as the Wednesday 11:00 a.m. service (set aside for higher risk members). The pews and Narthex will be cleaned between services.

To help spread out attendance this weekend (September 5–6), we suggest that families who would have normally attended Sunday service please try for last names L–Z to  worship on Saturday and A–K on Sunday. Obviously, this may not be possible every week, but if we all try our best to accommodate this schedule, it will help us keep Worship safer, more evenly distributed, and orderly. Our goal is to have 80–100 people per service on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate our average weekend attendance. THIS WEEK IS THE LAST SCHEDULED WEEK OF SPLITTING THE CONGREGATION INTO ALPHABETICAL GROUPS. Since our congregation has done so well distributing attendance and as we transition to one Saturday service at 5:00 p.m. with the 2nd and 4th weekends outdoor, we will adjust as needed. Our Livestream will be available this Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and then On Demand at chapelofthecrosslutheran.org/online.

There are no Sunday School materials this week. Sunday morning Bible class (20 Minutes in the Text) will be offered via Livestream at 9:30 a.m. and OnDemand. Our bulletin and announcements are also available on our website.

God's blessings this week!
