Chapel of the Cross

“Ask the beasts of the earth, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.” - Job 12:7-10

Last year we hosted our first ever Creation Camp. It went so well we’re doing it again. This camp will be open to any 3rd - 5th grade student and will run from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. during June 4th-8th. As the title indicates, this week-long camp will explore the creation that God has made through a variety of possible experiences such as building projects like bird feeders, exploring what the Bible says about nature and God’s work in creating it, learning to identify some common plants, trees and animals of Missouri, taking a hike on the Lewis and Clark Trail, and a visit to the World Bird Sanctuary. The goal, is that at the end of the week your child will walk away with a better appreciation of the world that God has made and how we are called to care for it. More information will become available as the week approaches.

There is a $20 registration fee to reserve your spot, but outside of that there won’t be any additional cost. If you are interested please contact Pastor James. Spots will be limited so sign up fast! You can also sign up to be an adult or youth guide for the week!
