Rev. Dr. Robert Hoehner

Robert Hoehner is a graduate of Concordia College, Ann Arbor, Michigan; Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri (1972). He served his year of vicarage at St. John's Lutheran Church in Chicago.

 

Following his graduation from the Seminary he served Immanuel, Linn, Kansas (1972-75); St. Mark, Kentwood, Michigan (1975-81); Fountain of Life, Kernersville, North Carolina (1981-83); St. John's, West Bend, Wisconsin (1983-1995); and Trinity, Sturgis, Michigan (1995-1998); South Wisconsin District Executive for Missions (1998-2005); St. John's, West Bend, Wisconsin (2005-2007); Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (2007-2012; and Chapel of the Cross, St. Peters, Missouri (2012-present).

During his ministry he has also served the church as a circuit counselor, zone pastoral advisor for the LLL, and LWML, the South Wisconsin District Stewardship Committee, and as a member of the executive council of N.A.M.E. (North American Mission Executives). He also served on the Board of Regents of Concordia University-Wisconsin. In December 2010, he was honored to receive from Concordia University-Wisconsin a Doctor of Divinity Degree.

Pastor Hoehner and his wife Susan have been blessed with three children, and nine grandchildren. They currently live in St. Peters, Missouri.
